This update allows engineers to define **effective wind area individually by wind zone** , instead of applying a single global value across the entire roof or wall.

When enabled, the calculator automatically applies the correct **GCp coefficients (positive and negative)** based on the specified effective area for each zone, including interpolation where required by ASCE 7 provisions.

Built-in validation messaging ensures selected wind zones are applicable to the chosen building geometry, improving clarity and reducing input errors.

Supports roof and wall zones for low- to mid-rise buildings under both **ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-22** , fully aligned with C&C methodology requirements.

✅ By allowing zone-specific effective areas within a single model, this enhancement reduces repetitive calculator runs, minimizes manual coefficient selection errors, and streamlines wind design workflows, saving time while improving confidence in code-compliant results.
